- Monday, February 2nd, 2026 – Wicked
All camps are geared towards ages 6-14 and are $55 + GST per student. No previous dance or theatre experience required. All camps are hosted at Bend Academy (2 Donald St. Unit 5). Camp days run 9:00-4:00 with morning drop off between 8:00-9:00am and end of day pick up between 4:00-5:00pm to help accommodate parent work schedules. Students are to bring their own lunch and snacks.
Mornings are led by Bend Academy and spent on dance and movement-based activities and Meraki Theatre leads our theatre focused afternoons. These camps are a lot of fun and a great way to spend an in-service day!

RECREATIONAL CAMP – Beginner/Intermediate Level (ages 6-13)
Recreational camp is best suited for students with beginner to intermediate dance, acro, or aerial experience. Ideal for new students and experienced recreational students. These weeks are 100% beginner-friendly. Depending on the number of participants, we will split the students by age and level for the classes we’ll do throughout the day. Students will typically do 1 dance class, 1 acro class, and 1 aerial class daily along with time for outdoor play, crafts, and games. Dance classes will be in styles such as ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, & tap.
What to wear? Students are asked to come dressed in fitted clothing such as leggings and a bodysuit or fitted top. Bodysuits are best for going upside down as they stay securely in place but a fitted shirt also works. Long hair is to be worn tied back. Please do not wear anything with zippers, clasps, or notions that could potentially snag on the aerial silks and damage them. No fake nails, jewelry of any kind (except small stud earrings) or anything sharp that could damage the fabric. Please also bring a pair of clean indoor runners. If your child owns any dance shoes they are welcome to bring them. Dance classes can be done in bare feet or socks.
What to bring? A snack, water bottle, sun screen, hat, back-up change of clothes just in case. Please send appropriate outerwear for outdoor time. We plan to go to the wading pool on Gertrude in the afternoon on Wednesday so please send a swimsuit and towel that day.
INTENSIVE CAMP – Intermediate/Advanced Level (ages 9-18)
Intensive camp is best suited for students with intermediate to advanced dance experience who have been dancing competitively a minimum of two years training across various styles. Ideally students have acro experience but it is not required, nor is previous aerial experience. This is a fast-paced camp geared towards students who already have strong dance foundations. We will group students so they end up in level-appropriate groups. Students will typically do 1 acro class, 1 aerial class, and 1 specialty class daily (ex. flexibility, partnering, yoga, etc.), as well as 2 dance classes daily in styles like ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, tap, & sometimes bonus specialty styles. That’s a lot of training! This camp is geared towards students who are used to training at a certain level and training for longer periods of time.

We will offer an optional tap class or two throughout the week for dancers who would like to tap.
